Sitting, Waiting, Wishing

Another week heads to its inevitable completion. One of those weeks where it's not a day too soon. At least as the week began, I had a little bit of time to edit some of my local Atlanta shots.

And there was a reason behind that. There's a free photo exhibition this weekend, apparently a yearly deal called My Atlanta. This year's theme is postcards of the city. So, I tried to take a few new shots and rummage through old shots for some things that I feel like say Atlanta for me. And I got them printed. So, if I can keep up the courage, I'll go on Saturday and take advantage of a free show.

There's nothing in the info. about how much I can take, so I've got a handful. I'll try to prioritize them myself, but feedback is appreciated, i.e. rank these if you please. =D

This is also why some of you may have noticed the start of a series of Atlanta Icons. It hit me as I was going through my photos that I have what I would call Iconic images of Rome, London, etc., but what about the metro area I live in? I don't think that's uncommon, i.e. that people see less of where they live than the places they dream of visiting, but I decided that I'll work on doing something about it. And so, a little series that no one but me may care about began. Look for more to come. And I've gotten a few suggestions in that area. Feel free if you're from the area or know it to make suggestions.

Of course, if you haven't noticed, I'm again behind on my deviant watches, hopefully some time this weekend!
