Artist's Comments
Lanyon Quoit is a dolmen from prehistoric times. Likely it was a grave, but it's definite that it had some ritual significance to the people who built it.
Built by peoples long gone but hardly forgotten. We still marvel at these standing stones today. It's significantly altered from its original form. It was knocked down by a storm and rebuilt by locals in the early 1800's. It's much shorter than its previous form and is one leg short. ---------------------------------------------- See More of my work not posted here on my Website |

Well done.

Two roads diverged in a wood, and I-
I took the one less traveled by,
And that has made all the difference.
