Artist's Comments

This image, which is currrently my most viewed, was honestly just a test. I was reading about cross-processing and wanted to experiment. I took a readily available image (my then feature image on devA) and applied a cross-processing action from here and gave it a whirl.

I originally figured it would join the scraps, but featured it in his journal [link]

I really appreciate the recognition and all the positive feedback that resulted!

art is so much more than the product created
- it's about the process of the creation.

*Jawdrop.* This is just...I...just... ...wow...
This is gorgeous, like something out a dream.
...the kind of dream you're sorry to be taken from.
Really a gorgeous, brilliant, stunning shot.
I'm simply in awe. ...and that 'causes me to ramble. ^^;

This would look even better with a border on it.
Still, a devinite :+favlove:.!

Oh thank you, thank you!! :bounce:

I guess I was inacurrate when I said this would probably end up in my scraps. It's gotten more views than the original and is one hit from being my most viewed image. Wow!

I literally did it before work this morning, so a border wasn't in the cards. I'll try to add one later if I can figure out a good one that doesn't detract from the image.

The sad thing is I entered the original in a photo contest and now I wish I had tried this new technique first... sniff...

Oh well! Thanks again! :)

it's a good one!
so you've used the shanz one, there are others on the web to try, each that works well with a specific condition, no one is good for everything!
:)

Thanks for the heads up! I've gotta find those! I really like the effect here.

Thanks again for the new technique to explore. =D
