Ancient Roads Often Traveledby ~marksda1

This is kind of my faux pano of the Sphinx. I actually cropped out the lower portion of the photo. It's crowded with people. Sometimes they add something - for scale if nothing else. Sometimes the human edge a picture needs. In this instance, I felt justified in just erasing that portion of the photo for this. A not so unusual image of the Sphinx and pyramids, but hopefully the toning makes it special.

The pyramid on the right (from viewer's perspective) is the pyramid of Khafre - voted most likely to bear the face of the Sphinx. And the other pyramid, looking quite small here, is the pyramid of Menkaure, last on the Giza plateau.
